A ASRock is preparing a new generation of mini PCs aimed at users who work with mixed loads, but are looking for compact equipment. The series appears in the models DeskSlim B760for Intel processors, and DeskSlim X600designed for AMD Ryzen CPUs compatible with socket AM5.
Both follow the same chassis 4.9 literswith a design designed for discreet setups or business use.
The units were initially presented as “mini AI workstations”a concept that the company associates with compatibility with low-profile GPUs and support for multiple storage devices.
Expected configurations for the Intel DeskSlim B760 version
O DeskSlim B760 supports 14th, 13th and 12th generation Intel Core processors, with TDPs of up to 125 W.
The model includes two memory slots Dr5 that reach up to 5600 MHzas well as space for three SATA drives, two M.2 2280 and one M.2 2230. There is also a slot PCIe 4.0 x4 for compact expansion cards such as Wi-Fi, networking or additional controllers.

In video outputs, the system offers HDMI, DisplayPort e USB-C with DP signal, allowing use as a workstation mounted behind a monitor or as part of a fixed desktop setup.
During the internal presentation, an engineer involved in the project commented that the objective is to balance mounting versatility with an extremely reduced volume.
The challenge is creating something small without limiting expansion options. The DeskSlim series appears to fill this space
AMD DeskSlim X600 Version Specifications
The variant DeskSlim X600 uses the chipset X600 and works with the new batch of processors Ryzen 9000in addition to the series 8000 e 7000. The memory follows the DDR5 standard, reaching up to 256 GB in the four available slots, with support for overclocking profiles.
Storage also received attention, offering three SATA bays and two high-bandwidth M.2 PCIe 5.0 x4, aimed at users who need to deal with large files or intensive applications.
On the rear panel there are modern connections such as USB42.5 GbE ports, and additional options for 4K or 8K displays depending on the integrated GPU or expansion card installed.

External power supply and proposed use
Both models use the same chassis 95 × 236 × 220 mmbut leave the source outside the structure, with a power adapter 240 W and option of a block of 330 W. According to ASRock, the approach reduces internal temperature and facilitates silent operation.
The brand indicates that this line is aimed at companies, home users who need smaller machines or environments where space is limited.
The concept brings the DeskSlim series closer to a hybrid between corporate mini PCs and compact machines aimed at productivity, with room for upgrades.
