An update on Intel’s official website confirms that its new Core Ultra 200K Plus CPUs will support DDR5 memory with up to 7,200MT/s. The processors do not yet appear with their commercial name on the page, but the listing makes it clear that it is talking about the Arrow Lake-S Refresh line.
The leaks and rumors that have appeared for this refresh, so far, indicate that the renewed processors will not bring major improvements in relation to the original models. Thus, an advance in the standard clock supported in memories – going from 6,400 to 7,200MT/s – is a welcome feature.

It is worth noting that it is now possible to obtain higher memory speeds on Intel Arrow Lake-S CPUs, but the numbers above refer to standard support, without the use of overclocking. In other words, the Core Ultra 200K Plus support up to DDR5-7200 officially, probably without violating the warranty.
The unofficial information we have so far indicates that the Core Ultra 200K Plus will arrive in three models, with few clock gains compared to their previous versions.
The Core Ultra 9 290K is at the top of the Arrow Lake-S Refresh, and arrives as the successor to the Ultra 9 285K. The processors have exactly the same core count – 8 for performance and 16 for efficiency, but the new one has a little more clock speed.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Ultra 5 250K Plus models have at least 4 more efficient cores than their predecessors, according to unofficial information.
Will Intel present Core Ultra 200K Plus at CES 2026?
Leaks about the new processors do not yet reveal an exact date for their official launch, but it is speculated that CES 2026 is a good time.

It is interesting to remember that Intel will dedicate a large part of the event to its new Panther Lake, based on the 18A process. This is one of the most important launches in recent years for the company, so it is to be imagined that the refreshes for Arrow Lake-S will not have much space in the presentation, if they are actually shown.
