Maxsun this week revealed its new MS-iCraft B850 AIGA motherboard, based on AM5 for AMD processors. The model draws attention not only for its appearance, but also for the fact that Maxsun guarantees support for “future compatible AMD generations”, visibly making reference to components based on Zen 6.
Maxsun’s AIGA line is the same one that received new versions of the RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti GPUs in recent days. However, while the graphics cards come in white, the new motherboard adopts classic black, featuring a purple silhouette of the anime character that symbolizes this family of components.
It is also interesting to mention that this is the first B850 level card that the company offers, according to VideoCardz. So it’s no wonder the company highlights its premium features, which includes support for AMD’s next-generation Zen 6.
Other features that Maxsun highlights for its new B850 iCraft are four slots for DDR5-8400 memory compatible with EXPO profiles, two PCIe 5.0 slots for GPUs and two other PCIe 5.0 slots for M.2 SSDs. The card was launched for China, but the company intends to distribute this product globally, at a date not yet announced.
AMD Zen 6 processors should have broad compatibility
In addition to Maxsun, ASUS and MSI have also promised support for Zen 6 processors on their 800 series motherboards. It is no surprise that companies first confirm expected features for their more premium products, but we already have information that AMD’s next generation CPUs will support several board models.

We still don’t have official statements, but well-known insiders already say that both 800 and 600 series cards will have guaranteed compatibility with Zen 6. Not only that, but models with 64MB or 32MB BIOS will be able to work with the new processors.
We should have news coming from AMD for its new processors, also known as Ryzen Medusa, early next year, possibly at CES 2026.
