AOC launched the U27U3XD, a new 27-inch monitor with 4K support and 288 Hz refresh rate. It was originally introduced in June 2025 and has two distinct modes, allowing users to choose between high refresh rate and high sharpness.
The model was launched in China with a price of 1,796 yuan (R$1,337.82).
The AOC U27U3XD operates in FHD and 4K resolutions. However, the refresh rate does not remain the same in both modes. In FHD mode, it behaves more like a competitive gaming monitor, with a refresh rate of 288 Hz. When using 4K resolution, the monitor’s refresh rate drops to 144 Hz.

Gamers and Professionals
4K resolution mode is best suited for professional workloads. In fact, the AOC U27U3XD has an IPS panel with 100% coverage of the sRGB color space and 98% of DCI-P3.
For gamers, there is support for Adaptive-Sync, which offers compatibility with Nvidia G-Sync. And, unlike other AOC models, the U27U3XD does not support AMD FreeSync.
There is also a wide selection of connectivity ports, including:

- 1x DisplayPort 1.4
- 1x USB-C com DisplayPort Alt
- 4x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A
- 1x USB upstream
- 1x audio output
This gaming monitor’s USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt and 90W PD, enabling a single-cable connection with compatible laptops and PCs. Other highlights include an integrated KVM module, VESA wall-mount support, 450 nits brightness, and various eye protection features.
Per official specifications, the panel features a Moving Image Response Time (MPRT) of 0.5 ms and a gray-to-gray response time of 4 ms.

The AOC U27U3XD model is estimated to be launched on the global market soon.
Meanwhile, those in need of a new monitor can take advantage of Black Friday sales to purchase one. In fact, the possibility of choosing 4K resolution and 288 Hz on a monitor (although switching modes) is not available.
It is possible to get an AOC 24.5″ Gamer Monitor, with 240Hz for R$ 1,129.99 (original price of R$ 1,777.77). Another option, with the same 24.5″, but with 310 Hz costs R$ 1,499.99 (original price of R$ 2,222.21). For those who want 4K resolution, the option is an AOC 27″ Professional Monitor for R$1,299.99 (original price of R$1,777.77).
There are cheaper options (which deliver less performance), such as the Monitor Gamer AOC 23.8″ (Full HD and 100 Hz) for R$599.99 and the Monitor Gamer AOC 22″ (Full HD and 120 Hz) for R$499.99.
