The Ryzen 5 7500X3D first appeared at the end of October, and is expected to become the new cheapest processor with AM5-compatible 3D V-Cache. Now, the component has leaked in the Geekbench performance test, revealing its possible clock at launch.

The information is especially interesting because, judging by the name, the Ryzen 5 7500X3D is expected to be a new version of the 7600X3D, bringing less clock speed to offer a more affordable price. So, if the leak is correct, we now know how much less this value would be.

As we can see in the screenshot above, the new processor was listed with a base clock of 4GHz, while the boost goes to 4,547MHz – which we can round to 4.6GHz. Thus, it would be 100MHz slower than the Ryzen 5 7600X3D, which reaches 4.7GHz in boost clock.

As usual with this type of leak, it is too early to talk about scores. The image in this post is from November 5th, showing 2,399 in single-core and 11,323 points in multi. However, we already have a new result in the Geekbench database that raises the numbers to 2,549 and 11,826, respectively.

Ryzen 5 7500X3D is part of an upcoming 3D V-Cache collection

In recent weeks most of the news about AMD has been related to leaks of new processors with 3D V-Cache. There are several components in different segments – from the Ryzen 5 7500X3D based on Zen 4 for an affordable price to a possible Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, the new high-end Zen 5 that could be the first CPU with dual 3D V-Cache that AMD has ever made.

The company is expected to talk about its new X3D options in January 2026 during its CES keynote. However, as more products appear in the leak, it becomes less likely that all of them will actually be shown at the event.

The variety of processors with 3D V-Cache is indicative of the popularity of this type of product in AMD’s portfolio. However, it is precisely this line of products that became the center of a recent lawsuit against the company.
