Summary
- Anatel approved the ROG Xbox Ally, allowing its sale in Brazil.
- The ROG Xbox Ally has lower specifications than the ROG Xbox Ally X, already approved, and is sold in white.
- For now, there is no information about the price for the national market, but the device costs US$600 in the United States.
After the approval of the ROG Xbox Ally X, revealed first-hand by Technoblogthe long-awaited certification of the second model has arrived. Anatel approved last Monday (03/11) the standard version of the portable console, the ROG Xbox Ally (code RC73YA) — considered the “smaller brother” of the new generation.
With certification, the console can now be sold in Brazil. Like its brother, it has the new Xbox Experience for Handheld interface and a 7-inch LCD screen with IPS technology, with a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.

What differentiates it from the X version is the white color and its lower internal specifications. These specifications are what justify the lower price.
Still, it’s something to consider: it costs US$600 in the US, around R$3,215 in direct conversion. As it will also not be manufactured in Brazil, its price is likely to increase, as it does not benefit from tax benefits.
Asus confirmed the launch of the console in the country, but has not yet revealed when it will arrive or the official price in reais.
