Lenovo has officially announced the global launch of the Legion Go Gen 2, the new generation of its portable console. It is a respectful alternative from the leader in PC sales growth to the Rog Ally and the Steam Deck. The model arrives with an improved design, a more vibrant screen and new AMD Ryzen Z2 processors.
In Brazil, OctoShop, a marketplace specializing in technology, confirmed that it will open advance sales of the Legion Go Gen 2 in the coming weeks. Thus, it will be one of the first platforms in the country to make the product available for purchase and interested parties can purchase through the link.
The pre-sale process will follow the same format adopted in other recent launches, such as the ROG XBOX Ally. This will allow Brazilians to have easier access to recently launched products abroad, with transparency, security and without customs bureaucracy.
OctoShop does not act as an importer, but rather as a technology marketplace that connects Brazilian consumers to international launches not yet officially available in the country.

Despite this, the advantage of Legion Go is that it is the first on the market with an 8.8 oled screen with VRRwhich makes the experience much more immersive, without frame drops normal to displays without this feature.
The laptop comes with tablet mode and detachable controls which help the device to be inserted in any context, even corporate ones as it does not look like a video game. I.e, It can also become a personal computer, simply by connecting a USB cable to a monitor..
The device will be available in two versions: one equipped with an AMD Ryzen Z2 and the other with the Z2 Extreme. Both have 8 cores and 16 threads, but with different architectures. While the Z2 is based on Zen 4 with RDNA 3 graphics, the Z2 Extreme adopts Zen 5 with RDNA 3.5 GPU and 16 compute units.
In terms of connections, the laptop includes two USB4 ports (with DisplayPort 2.0 and Power Delivery 3.0 support), a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a microSD card reader.
