AMD revealed this week when it will hold its Financial Analyst Day 2025 event. This is a conference aimed at its investors, but it will also be interesting to the public mainstream because the company intends to present its roadmaps to future technologies and products during the event.
Financial Analyst Day has not happened since June 2022, so its return marks the breaking of a hiatus that has been three years old. But we still have a few months of waiting, as the conference will officially take place on November 11.
“The event will feature performances by AMD’s executive leaders team, highlighting the company’s growth and opportunities strategy, roadmaps for innovative products and new technologies, and long -term financial plan,” says the company’s official publicity. “A live video webcast and a replay of the event will be available on the AMD Investor Relations website.”
AMD will finally talk about Udna again?
As the text indicates, Financial Analyst Day 2025 will be very focused on what AMD intends to bring in the future, which raises hopes of the company finally speak a little more about its UDNA architecture.
As has been confirmed, the next generation of AMD’s GPUS architecture will unite its CDNA variants for server and RDNA for domestic plates in a single technology called UDNA.
After a generation of video cards for the PC without high-end options to compete with NVIDIA’s RTX 5080 and 5090, there is much expectation for the Potential of UDNA. It is possible that technology at least appears in the roadmaps that will be revealed in November, confirming (or not) whether its development follows as planned.
What else to expect from the event?
Being a presentation aimed at investors and the financial segment, AMD’s main focus on Financial Analyst Day should be in AI and Data Centers. It is almost certain that the company will talk about its EPYC processors, which have gain more and more space in the professional segment.
