Minix presents new mini strix halo pcs with prices starting at $ 789

Minix launched this week two new mini PCs, focusing on productivity and AI performance. While the compact computers segment has proliferated with Strix Halo processors in recent times, the latest ER937-AI and ER936-AI use Strix Point CPUS for the cost x benefit segment.

“Our new mini PCs prove that size is not a barrier to performance,” said the founder of Minix.

Both models are quite similar in their specifications, with processors as their main difference. Both come with 32GB of DDR5-5600 memory (expandable up to 96GB) and an NVME PCIE 4.0 SSD of 1TB (with space for up to 8TB). Both options also come with Windows 11 Pro installed.

The Minix ER936-AI, however, comes with a Ryzen AI 9 365, a 20 Threads @5GHz processor, with 20 threads and accompanied by integrated GPU Radeon 880m. The ER937-AI model uses a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, with 12 nuclei and 24 threads, with 5.1GHz clock. IGPU is a Radeon 890m.

As Minix promotes devices as AI mini PCs, it is worth mentioning that the company estimates performance up to 73tops to ER936-AI and up to 80tops on ER937-AI.

The company also points out that the most expensive model comes with fingerprint reader, compatible with Windows Hello.

The pre-sale promotional period runs until September 4, the date on the shipments of each product to its buyers. They come with HDMI cable and VESA standard mounting structure to hang behind compatible monitors.
