Maxsun prepares a mini station with Intel only: Core Ultra 9 285hx and Arc Pro B60

Maxsun presented this week a new compact work system that is projecting with Intel components. The Mini Station looks like a desktop, but features an Ultra 9 285HX Core and has two GPUS slots – coming with two Arc Pro B60 in the case of the example used by the company.

The Mini Station is a Modt – Mobile on Desktop. That is, it uses a notebook -oriented platform in a desktop profile system, enabling the use of more advanced GPUs in a not so large workstation.

For the specific case of Maxsun’s system, it is curious because Core Ultra 9 285hx is already a modified desktop processor for notebooks, and now appears on a custom plate to return to the desktop.

Thus, however, it is not possible to change the processor, which comes preinstalled on the motherboard. At the first time when Maxsun has just revealed the product, the company does not talk about possible other processor options.

Maxsun’s mini Station can also hold its double gpus

Maxsun demonstrated its new product at the Bilibili World 2025 conference, where it appeared with two Arc Pro B60 milestone installed. However, according to Videocardz, the system would also include the manufacturer’s double GPU variants. Sparkle also prepares ARC Pro models with this type of design.

Since this is an initial disclosure, we do not yet have details of other components in the mini station, such as their drives and memory. Maxsun has not yet disclosed its price or specific release date.

What we can anticipate is that it seems to be a system aimed at professional use of AI, not only in accelerating processing, but also training. Thus, it is expected a considerably high value.
