Inspired by the Chinese film known as Operation Hadal (also called Operation Leviathan), we present a bombastic component: Lenovo launches grenade-shaped external SSD!
Check out the image of the product that may generate controversy in some places, despite being made exclusively for Chinese people, as well as the film with IMAX technology that will be available there at the end of this month:
In a free translation based on the promotional image, it is understood that the SSD will have a USB 3.2 interface and will be made of aluminum alloy. According to the same source, the differentiated product is the result of successful crowdfunding for the local public.

Reports indicate that around 70% of the requested amount has already been raised, and there are still several days until the project is completed. It will cost Y599around US$ 82 (~ R$ 493.95 in a free conversion).
In addition to the news shared at the beginning of this article, which informs about the possible presence of the USB 3.2 interface and the peculiar aluminum alloy format, it is expected to offer 1TB of storage, USB-C and be able to reach transfer speeds that exceed 1,050 MB/.
In other words: it will be something that prioritizes unique style, because if the specifications are as mentioned, thousands of Better SSDs can be found easilyat affordable prices, not only in Brazil but throughout the world.
Although it is not yet official, as it is a highly personalized product and made for an extremely specific niche (the film is not scheduled to be released even in the United States), the technical details are based on a Lenovo SSD that may have been used as a basis for the project, known as AKA Savior (Lenovo Legion internationally) in China.
Peculiar projects like the “SSD Granada” are not unheard of. Other companies, such as Gigabytehave become known for limited products with eye-catching designs. Unfortunately, even with the interesting and bombastic look, Lenovo launches a grenade-shaped external SSD in an initiative that is unlikely to reach the rest of the world.
