ASUS presented the Master Thunderbolt 5 Dock DC510a versatile 13-in-1 dock aimed at creators and professionals who need high-performance multitasking. The dock supports dual 8K or triple 4K displays.
A dock included three Thunderbolt 5 ports, four USB-A ports, a 2.5G Ethernet port, dual memory card readers, and a combo audio jack. And with 80Gbps transfer speeds and 140-watt pass-through charging, the dock is ideal for fast file handling and efficient device support.

Video Support
As for display support, it varies depending on the host device. In the case of Intel-based Macs, there is full support for multi-display configurations, but with generally lower resolution than Apple Silicon.
In the case of M1 and M2 Macs, support is limited to an external display via Thunderbolt with no third-party solutions. With Apple M4 Max, the dock supports up to four external displays, depending on the Mac itself.
With the Apple M4 Pro, the dock can handle more than two monitors, supporting configurations such as dual 6K via Thunderbolt and a 4K display via HDMI.

ASUS claims the dock is capable of process a 20GB file in just six seconds and it has a PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD slot accessible without tools. Additionally, it comes with Customizable LED lighting on the aluminum body.
According to ASUS’s own disclosure, the dock is designed for creators, and can transform a “notebook into a powerful workstation”. With the dock, it is possible to connect a cell phone with which a 4k video was captured, transfer the file to the SSD and edit it on the notebook with the help of up to 3 other monitors.
The greater the number of monitors connected, the lower the maximum supported resolution, however, even with two monitors connected, the dock supports 8K resolutions, although it does not support 144Hz at that resolution.
To date, ASUS has not yet provided details on the price or availability of the Master Thunderbolt 5 Dock DC510. However, it is clear that, for the right audience, the productivity gain is measurable by the set of functions rather than by one of the individual attributes.
