Nintendo is still silent about the Nintendo Switch 2but accessory manufacturers have started to reveal information about the highly anticipated console. During CES 2025, Genki showcased a line of accessories for the device, including a video showing the complete unit and docking station.
We can see above a promotional video from GENKI, manufacturer of accessories for the Switch 2, showing in detail the entire design of the Nintendo Switch, its dock and even its joy-cons to promote accessories that will arrive on the console.
The French website Numerama had access to a mock-up of the console, supposedly based on a real model. The design reveals a larger structure compared to the original Switch, as well as a second USB-C connector located at the top.
Another highlight were the new magnetic Joy-Con controls, which promise greater practicality and stability for the player.
The docking base was also detailed in released images, reinforcing the possibility that the console will come with a 60W charger, according to sources close to the development.
However, despite the mountain of promising and plausible leaks that we have had in recent days, there is still no official confirmation that the models presented are completely faithful to the final version of the product.
In addition to Genki, other accessory manufacturers participated in CES 2025, providing more information about the console. According to some reports obtained by Numerama, the expected launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 it would be in April 2025.
There are even rumors that units of the device would already be available on the alternative market, although no concrete evidence about the software or operating system has emerged so far.
With leaks and speculation emerging almost daily, all that remains is for Nintendo to make the announcement of the new console official. Although there is no date for this yet, the growing volume of information suggests that the reveal could happen soon.
