With the “Blackwell” generation of the GeForce RTX 50 series, Nvidia is introducing the new DLSS 4 technology. The most innovative feature of DLSS 4 is the multi-frame generation, which can preview up to three frames ahead of a conventionally rendered frame.
DLSS SR can effectively turn 1 pixel into 4, converting a 1080p render to 4K outputand DLSS 4 generates the following three frames, having a pixel generation factor of 1:15. That is, 15 out of every 16 pixels are generated outside the rendering pipeline.
It will officially launch with the GeForce RTX 50 series later this month and over 75 game titles will be ready to utilize DLSS 4 technology. an exclusive feature of “Blackwell” and he can increase performance by up to 8x over traditional rendering.

Supported Cards
Boards that support DLSS 4 technology are those with Blackwell architecture: RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti and 5070.
With performance promised to be twice as good as the 4090, the 5090 sets new performance standards for the GPU market. It impresses with its 92 billion transistors and processing capacity of 3.352 trillion AI operations per second (TOPS).
For the RTX 5080, NVIDIA also promises that the card will be twice as fast as the 4080. The card includes support for NVIDIA Reflex 2, NVIDIA Broadcast technologies and the new Frame Warp function, which is expected to be released in future updates.
The RTX 5070 Ti uses a reduced version of the same GPU present in the RTX 5080, with 8960 CUDA cores and a boost clock of 2.45 GHz. Compared to the previous generation, the memory received a significant upgrade: 16 GB of GDDR7.
With the lowest price among the Blackwell announced, the RTX 5070 represents an important milestone in the accessibility of technologies such as ray tracing and AI imaging. The new card should hit the market as an extremely competitive option for users looking for high performance at a more affordable cost.
Availability and cost
The 5090 and 5080 are expected to be available at the end of January, while the RTX 5070 Ti and 5070 are expected to hit the market in February.
The prices revealed were:
- RTX 5090: US$ 1,999
- RTX 5080: US$ 999
- RTX 5070 Ti: US$ 749
- RTX 5070: US$ 549
