Among the new features at CES 2025, the reveal of the new Intel Core 200H series, of high-performance processors aimed at notebooks, was expected. The company, however, seems to have given up waiting for January and has already posted a table with complete details for its next line of CPUs on its official website.

One of the first to notice the update was @momomo_us, an account known for its accurate leaks. We reiterate, however, that this time we are not talking about a rumor. The Core Processor 200H line is on an official Intel page, still available for public access at the time of this post.

We have five new SKUs listed in the table:

  • Core 9 Processor 270H: 14 núcleos + 20 threads | @5,8GHz (boost)
  • Core 7 Processor 250H: 14 núcleos + 20 threads | @5,4GHz (boost)
  • Core 7 Processor 240H: 10 núcleos + 16 threads | @5,2GHz (boost)
  • Core 5 Processor 220H: 12 núcleos + 16 threads | @4,9GHz (boost)
  • Core 5 Processor 210H: 8 núcleos + 12 threads | @4,8GHz (boost)

The Core Processors revealed for the 200H series are based on a Raptor Lake refresh, so older integrated graphics. Therefore, they do not have Intel Arc, based on the Xe GPU.

Buying an Intel notebook could get confusing in 2025

The folks at TechPowerUp are aware that users will have to deal with four different architectures if they are interested in buying an Intel notebook in 2025. We will have new products based on Lunar Lake (Core Ultra 200V), Meteor Lake (Core Ultra 200U) , Raptor Lake (Core Processor 200H/U) and Arrow Lake (Core Ultra 200H/X).

Related news:

In the Core Processor 200H line that has just been revealed, for example, we have an Intel Core 5 with more cores than a Core 7 – in the case of the Processor 220H and 240H, respectively. The “gotcha” is that the 240H has 6 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores, while the 220H uses 4 performance cores and 8 efficiency cores.

It may be difficult to explain the difference between Intel notebooks to those who don’t closely follow news in the world of hardware.
