An updated rumor about the RTX 5070 Ti reveals the card’s possible memory configuration and changes the TGB expected for the product. According to the most recent unofficial information, the card will feature 16GB of GDDR7 memory, with a TBP of 350W.
The increase in power consumption is considerable compared to the previous leak, which placed the RTX 5070 Ti’s requirements at an estimated 300W. The specifications, however, show a more advanced launch for the model compared to the RTX 4070 Ti.
Unlike its predecessor, the RTX 5070 Ti will use the same GPU as the card model that is just above it in the Blackwell generation. In other words, according to rumors, the card will come with the same GB203 present in the RTX 5080, obviously slightly “cut”.
Thus, the new rumors reiterate that the card will use 8,960 CUDA cores, with a memory bandwidth of 256bit and up to 28Gbps speed. WCCFTech claims that the card’s total bandwidth reaches 896GB/s, which is 33% more than what the RTX 4070 Ti offers.
Will RTX 5070 Ti arrive before the standard 5070?
Still according to rumors, NVIDIA will change the timeline of its launches for the Blackwell generation. If the information is correct, the RTX 5070 Ti could be the third release in the series, instead of the standard RTX 5070.
In other words, the arrival of the RTX 5090 and 5080 is expected first, with the 5070 Ti arriving shortly after, still in the first quarter of 2025. The RTX 5070 would come later, closer to the 5060. In any case, rumors say that the NVIDIA wants to launch all six first RTX 50 models in the first half of 2025.
