The Game Awards 2024: see the winning games

Last night, December 12, 2024, the video game industry came together to celebrate the best games of the year at The Game Awards 2024.

The event was attended by developers, artists and fans, and was filled with exciting announcements, musical performances and, of course, the presentation of the coveted trophies.

Best of the year at The Game Awards

This year’s event marked the 10th anniversary of The Game Awards and was full of big announcements, leaving the gaming community even more excited for what’s to come. Although the long-awaited GTA VI didn’t show off (to the surprise of few), we still have exciting news such as a trailer for The Witcher 4, a stand-alone for Elden Ring, a new game from Naughty Dog and much more.

And, of course, there was the awarding of awards for the event categories, with Astro Bot taking the supreme trophy for game of the year.
