Or even rap names like 2Pac e Notorius BIG that they were murdered, and to this day these crimes are shrouded in mystery. This is the kind of curiosity that some artists try to imagine thanks to the potential of generative AI tools.
Turkish photographer and lawyer Yesiltas Alps, in his series of photographs titled “As If Nothing Happened”, posted on your Instagram account, delivers very interesting representations of celebrities who have passed away, imagining what they would look like today. In some cases, like the photo of Michael Jackson, the image appears to capture traces of the singer’s physiognomy before surgical interventions.
How was it possible to achieve this result?
To achieve this level of realism, Yesiltas relied on advanced image editing and enhancement tools. Among them are the Adobe Lightroom and the VSCOin addition to artificial intelligence software Reminisceknown for restoring and enhancing photographs with high precision.
According to the photographer, the big challenge is to make the image look ‘real’. My favorite moment is when I look at the image and think that it looks like it was captured by a real photographer,” says Yesiltas.
