Store in Germany already sells Intel Arc B570 model before January

Even before the official launch date of the Arc B580 models, from the Intel Battlemage series, a variant of the Arc B570 is already on sale in one of the largest online stores in Germany. At the time of this publication, the ASRock Intel Arc B570 Challenger can be found at Mindfactory for €288.10 (R$1,783).

Anyone who followed the launch of the new generation of Intel GPUs will remember that the company set a month for the arrival of each Battlemage model. The Arc B580 should officially start shipping tomorrow, December 13th. The Arc B570, in turn, was expected to reach buyers on January 16th.

Interestingly, however, Mindfactory began offering the ASRock Arc B570 Challenger for pre-order early. It seemed like a mistake, but instead of taking the page offline, the store updated the listing indicating that the card is now in stock, ready to ship. At the time of this post, the link was still working.

The Arc B570 is the entry-level option in the Battlemage series. Therefore, the card uses the same GPU as the B580 model, but has reduced numbers, such as 18 Xe cores and 10GB of VRAM. This model also has a reduced clock rate and TDP, going to 2500MHz and 150W, respectively.

Intel bet on cost-benefit with its new series of GPUs, so its values ​​are an important aspect for the products to be attractive. The Arc B580 was announced for US$249, while its “smaller sister” has an official price of US$219 (R$1,293)

Therefore, it is noteworthy that Mindfactory listed ASRock’s Arc B570 for a considerably higher price. This is largely due to VAT, the value-added tax that applies to products sold in the European Union.
