ASL launches RTX 4060 Mini less than 15cm long

ASL announced a new version of the RTX 4060 for compact systems based on mini-ITX cards. The RTX 4060 Mini measures less than 15cm, but does not sacrifice performance, maintaining its TDP and NVIDIA reference clocks.

ASL’s new custom GPU measures exactly 14.6cm long, with just 11.2cm wide. With a TDP of 115W, it still needs an 8-pin cable for power. Thus, the boost clock of up to 2,460MHz is also maintained.

Other features of the reference design also remain. There are 3,072 CUDA cores, accompanied by 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM memory. The card connects via PCIe 4.0 x8, which is sufficient for this GPU model.

Small size video cards are increasingly rare, while high-end models are large enough to require new support solutions. New GPUs have grown so much that NVIDIA even standardized the SFF format, calling video cards that reach sizes up to the RTX 10 series “compact”.

Thus, models like ASL’s RTX 4060 Mini are coveted by those looking to create compact builds. Unfortunately for these people, ASL only works on products in China, and this new GPU is its only mini-ITX design to date.

ASL’s new pint-sized GPU is now on sale in its homeland. It appears on AliExpress for the converted price of R$2,241.65. The value would be incorporating a 36% discount compared to the full price of R$3,502.57.
