The Intel Arc B580, one of the Battlemage GPUs, appears again in another leak. This time we have supposed results of the graphics card undergoing a Geekbench test. Thus, some technical details of the product appear, as well as its possible performance score.
Every rumor should be viewed with a little skepticism, and we emphasize that the Arc B580 is not called by name in this leak. It is based on the features listed by the test results that this Battlemage model is imagined to be.
According to data from Geekbench, the Arc B580 appears with 20 Xe cores and a maximum clock of 2.85GHz. The card also incorporates 12GB of VRAM memory, as appeared in the ASRock model leak we had recently.
The GPU was installed on a Windows 11 system, on a Gigabyte Z890 motherboard, accompanied by a Core Ultra 9 285K processor. Under these conditions, the Arc B580’s final benchmark score was 78,743 points.
It’s not a very exciting score, pay attention to the folks at Tom’s Hardware, remembering that the Intel Arc A580 can score more than that. However, the site also highlights that results from the Battlemage generation have appeared lower even than Alchemist in synthetic test leaks. We have to see official tests with updated drivers before drawing conclusions.
Arc B580 marks the debut of Battlemage cards
Rumors and leaks about Battlemage strongly indicate that Intel’s new generation of dedicated GPUs will actually arrive in December. The debut, however, may be limited to the Arc B580 model.
To date, this has been the only board with an actual leak from a commercial model. Tom’s Hardware speculates that the more advanced Arc B770 may be delayed due to limited demand.

One way or another, the expectation is all in the price that Intel intends to charge for its Battlemage. “Accelerating” the launch to arrive before the revelation of the new generations from AMD and NVIDIA, it is to be expected that the company will try to attract attention with competitive prices for the Arc B580.
