Jonsbo this week announced the C6 Max, a new, slightly larger version of its compact case. Unlike the C6 ITX, the C6 Max is made to accommodate mATX boards, therefore offering more space for other components as well. Still, it maintains a very similar design with its mini-ITX version, including the carrying strap.
The original version of the C6 measures 202 x 206 x 295.2mm. The new Jonsbo C6 Max, in turn, goes to 202 x 349 x 295mm. In other words, the width and height are basically the same, while the depth increases quite a bit. The weight increased from 2.5kg to 3.5kg.
As a result, the new case accommodates CPU coolers up to 170mm tall and GPUs up to 335mm tall. The source can measure between 140 and 220mm.
The increase in depth offers space for another 120mm fan, allowing for two of this size or just one 140mm fan. Meanwhile, at the bottom, you can choose between two 120mm fans or an extra space for HDD, since the internal part of the C6 Max still only fits a 2.5” or 3.5” drive.
Jonsbo C6 Max arrives in black and white
The new case compatible with Micro-ATX boards from Jonsbo will be available in black and white, but unfortunately the brand has not yet released prices. As usual, the product will arrive first in China, the manufacturer’s homeland.
More cabinets:
An interesting aspect of the C6 Max is that, despite its compact size, it also has a glass part on its side panel that allows you to see some of the internal components. But, for those looking for this style of look, Jonsbo has another mATX case option that may be more interesting.
The TK-0 is a little larger than the C6 Max, but it has an “aquarium” effect that has become popular among case manufacturers.
