The network sent R$0.01 to millions of members of the Club BKusing the tool’s text box to communicate that, with an additional R$0.24, it is possible to guarantee 2 BK Franguinhos for just R$0.25 during #BKFriday, in participating brand restaurants. The promotion is valid from November 25th to 29th.
While most brands invest in traditional channels to attract consumers to their Black Friday offers, Burger King uses CRM intelligence to transform sending Pix into media. “What people want on Black Friday is to win, and that’s exactly what we delivered: money directly to their cell phones, via Pix. More than a campaign, this mechanic created an innovative media format that impacts and becomes a topic, connecting BK® in a unique way to the consumer in the most competitive week of the year in retail”comments Igor Puga, CMO of Marketing at ZAMP, Burger King’s master franchisee in Brazil.
The difference in this year’s campaign is precisely the use of Pix as a direct communication tool with the public. Taking advantage of the popularity of this payment method in Brazil, BK chose an unusual format to contact its audience: the bank notification. “Creativity is part of Burger King’s DNA. We combine this with the behavior of the Brazilian consumer, who has already incorporated Pix into their routine. With more than 35 million Pix worth R$0.01 made in 2023, we see a unique opportunity to highlight the brand in an innovative way in one of the most important sales periods of the year”, comments Puga.

The special Black Friday offer of 2 BK Chickens for just R$0.25 is available at the Counter, BK Drive and Totem of participating Burger King Brasil units, between the 25th and 29th of November, limited to a purchase of R$0 .25 per time and per Invoice. Check out non-participating stores
