ASRock Arc B580 with 12GB is the first Battlemage to appear in a leak

The ASRock Arc B580 Steel Legend appeared early in a listing on Amazon, marking its presence as the first finished Intel Battlemage board to be revealed in a leak. The model arrives in white, with three fans, ARGB lights and 12GB of memory.

The Amazon page for ASRock’s Battlemage card has already gone down, but VideoCardz managed to get some information and images before that happened. The website claims that the card confirms the Xe2-HPG architecture, with overclocking to 2.8GHz on this specific model. Additionally, the 12GB memory is GDDR6, at 19Gbps.

The Arc B580 Steel Legend leak also confirms two 8-pin connectors on the model, instead of a single 16-pin. It’s worth remembering that, if Intel continues its naming scheme, this is an intermediate GPU, with more advanced options appearing as the Arc B700.

Something especially interesting about this leak of the first Battlemage is that it is accompanied by the leak of the second card as well. Apparently, ASRock is preparing two models of the Arc B580, with the Steel Legend version appearing on Amazon, but there is also a listing for a Challenger model.

Therefore, the people at VideoCardz contacted their contacts with the manufacturer and received the image above. We can see that the ASRock Arc B580 will have a Challenger variant, in black and with two fans instead of three.

Battlemage should actually arrive in December

A very important aspect of the leak of the first Battlemage card on Amazon is that it practically confirms the launch of these GPUs in December.
