Despite recent reports about possible cooling issues in the new Blackwell servers, NVIDIA has assured investors that the chips are in “full production” and “full steam ahead.”
13,000 Blackwell units have already been shipped to customers this quarter, according to CFO Colette Kress, and CEO Jensen Huang stated that Blackwell’s success can now be measured in billions of dollars.
It was thanks to its AI chips that NVIDIA won the title of the most valuable company in the world, surpassing Microsoft and Apple. In Q3 2025 results, the company suggested that record AI revenue is just the beginning.
And while the Blackwell series is the latest innovation, NVIDIA revealed that the H200, announced last year, is the company’s best-selling product, worth billions of dollars. The H100 series was Nvidia’s original successful AI product, and the company expects demand for the H series chips to increase.
Competitive Performance
Although NVIDIA is known as a graphics and gaming company, its fortunes in AI data centers have outpaced its other areas of business. The segment brought in $30.8 billion last quarter, representing most of the $35 billion in quarterly earnings.
In AMD’s case, although AI is not yet that big of a deal for the company, the competitor is adjusting its strategy to focus on AI. Both NVIDIA and AMD have accelerated their development timelines, promising to release new chips to meet AI demand.
Meanwhile, Intel is far behind in terms of success with AI and is currently undergoing restructuring.
