Thermaltake has launched a new, reduced version of its curious The Tower 600 case. The Tower 250 features the same design with prism-shaped angles and a structure for mounting components vertically, but with a considerably smaller size.

Being a mini case, the Tower 250 is only compatible with mini-ITX boards, measuring 6.7” x 6.7”. Therefore, it does not offer the same compatibility feature with hidden connector cards as its “bigger brother”. It has three 3mm tempered glass panels to show the internal components and the same color options as the Tower 600.

Despite not being compatible with ATX boards, Thermaltake’s new case is not much smaller than its 600 version, but it is somewhat lighter. The Tower 250 measures 506 x 300 x 281mm, weighing 7.1kg. With these measurements, it can accommodate GPUs up to 245mm, but removing the power supply compartment cover, the video card can reach 360mm. Speaking of the PSU, it can be up to 200mm tall and the CPU cooler up to 210mm tall.

The diagram above shows the distribution and sizes of fans and/or radiators that can be installed on the Tower 250. It is worth mentioning that the case can be used both standing up and lying down at an angle, supported on its support.

Thermaltake shows thermal performance of The Tower 250

In a rare announcement for case manufacturers, Thermaltake decided to show heat dissipation performance results on its new case. The graphs below show results in degrees Celsius for the motherboard, CPU and GPU, with the system under different stress conditions.

The graph caption shows that the tests were carried out with an Intel Core i9-13900K and an RTX 4090. Complete build information, including the fans used, is available on the official The Tower 250 page.
