Pizza Hut has brought the worlds of food and gaming together with the new PIZZAWRMR, designed to sit on top of the PlayStation 5 and keep pizza warm while the player enjoys it.
This is not a new retail product or promotion, but rather 3D printing source files made freely available by Pizza Hut Canada for anyone to download, modify and print.
PIZZAWRMR’s ​​design is inspired by the pizzeria restaurant’s signature red roof. The lid opens like a laptop for easy access to pizza slices, and according to Pizza Hut, multiple pizza slices can fit in the top box.
About the file
Among the downloadable materials are STL files and a PDF guide, which contains 3D printing files for the body, left support, cover, collector and appropriate support. The design is designed with compatibility only for consoles that have rear ventilation measuring 11.7 x 1.31 inches.
The 3D printer must have a bed of at least 15 x 15 inches to accommodate the PIZZAWRMR.
Other considerations
To protect the console from crumb and grease hazards, Pizza Hut suggests that PIZZAWRMR users insert a 14″ x 11″ x 1″ sheet pan inside the warmer. The last tip in the PDF is to start playing to heat up the PIZZAWRMR and then place your pizza slices on the tray.
