Insomniac Games announced that Ratchet & Clank: In Another Dimension and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 are ready to run on PS5 Pro. Both games received update patches, including exclusive graphical modes for the new Sony console.
Ratchet & Clank: In Another Dimension received patch 1,005,000. The patch with PS5 Pro support for Marvel’s Spider-Man is 1,004,000. According to Insomniac, both games will use PSSR (Sony’s upscaling) to reach rates of 60 fps, while maintaining graphical quality.
The developer guaranteed that the frame rate will be maintained in Performance Pro mode even with Ray tracing activated. It will be interesting to see how Insomniac games will run on the PS5 Pro, once the Sony console is available in stores.
Over the past few weeks, several games have been receiving patches with official support for the PS5 Pro. In addition to Racthet and Spider-Man 2, the games Stellar Blade, Lies of P and The Last of Us Part II are also ready to run on the PS5 Pro.
Among the modes, Ratchet & Clank and Spider-Man will receive Fidelity Pro and Performance Pro. Insomniac highlights that the Performance mode is recommended for most players, while the Fidelity Pro version is for “who wants to try new ray-tracing graphics features“.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will arrive on PC in January
Ratchet & Clank: In Another Dimension is now available on PC and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 arrives on January 30, 2025. It will be interesting to compare how Spider-Man and Ratchet run on PC and PS5 Pro. Will the new console Will Sony be able to show the power of PSSR?
