Therefore, AMD decided to reveal the product’s debut date in stores in an official teaser. Therefore, we now know that the new generation of 3D V-Cache processors based on Zen 5 arrives on November 7th.
Precisely on the same day that AMD decided to make this teaser, some US stores decided to “jump the start” and list the new processor on their pages. The product appeared with its price, but at different values on each website.
One of the stores offering the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is ShopBLT, as appears in a tweet by the famous “leaker” @harukaze5719. As of this writing, the processor is still listed on the page for $524.62. This amounts to close to R$2,966 at the current price.
For those who thought it was expensive, the component appeared a little cheaper in a second listing. Another user known for his leaks on Twitter, @momomo_us, found the CPU for US$484 at the Tech-America store. The value corresponds to R$2,736.
As always, rumors should be viewed with skepticism. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D will be the most affordable option among the Zen 5 processors with 3D V-Cache, and the leak’s “cheapest” listing puts the new CPU just US$60 more expensive than its predecessor, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. If this value is confirmed, it will be promising for the other options in the line as well.
