Gigabyte announced the launch of X3D Turbo Modea BIOS feature designed to maximize gaming performance on X870E, X870, and 600 series motherboards with AMD Ryzen™ 7000 X3D and Ryzen™ 9000 processors.
While the new X3D Turbo Mode is clearly designed with CPUs that have 3D V-Cache in mind, it also provides a performance boost for non-X3D CPUs. Testing shows that this feature brings great benefits to gamers, with performance increases of up to 35% for Ryzen™ 9000 X3D processors and 20% for non-X3D Ryzen™ 9000 processors. Performance improvements vary depending on processor model and DRAM condition.
X3D Turbo Mode’s unique optimization parameters allow even non-X3D Ryzen™ 9000 processors to achieve gaming performance levels similar to their Ryzen™ X3D counterparts.
Agesa and Ai Snatch Integration
The press release doesn’t explain exactly what this mode does or how it works, simply presenting it as a ‘revolutionary BIOS feature’. It will be integrated with AMD AGESA 1.2.0.2a in the latest BIOS BETA version and will be synchronized with AORUS AI SNATCH soon. To enable X3D Turbo Mode, simply update the BIOS to the latest version.
