Corsair launches its new “Super Tower” case, the 9000D RGB Airflow

Corsair announced this week the official launch of the 9000D RGB Airflow, its new “Super Tower” case. As its description indicates, it is a case with a larger size compared to what is normally found on the market. Thus, the manufacturer wants to offer the maximum in cooling configurations, with space for up to 18 120mm fans in its new case.

Robust space for fans, as usual, also means plenty of room for liquid cooling. Therefore, the Corsair 9000D RGB Airflow supports radiators up to 480mm.

To offer so much space, the “Super Tower” case measures 698 x 698 x 307mm. However, a large part of this size is really aimed at the fans and to facilitate the assembly of the PC. The case also offers, for example, a 30mm space behind the motherboard, for more flexibility in organizing cables.

Moving on to other components, however, the support is not much above the average of what we find in other options. In other words, Corsair’s new case supports ATX motherboards, with GPUs measuring up to 400m. The CPU cooler can be up to 180mm tall, and the power supply can measure up to 225mm.

The space for 3.5” drives is also not impressive, with room for up to two. Reducing the size to 2.5”, up to six can fit.

How much does a Corsair “Super Tower” cost?

The new 9000D RGB Airflow case is now available worldwide at authorized resellers, says Corsair. This includes the company’s official website in the USA, where the case is priced at US$500. The case is available in black and white, and the value is the same for both options – equivalent to R$2,795 at the current price. .

Finally, Corsair highlights that it has developed a new variable fan mounting system for the producer, which the company calls InfiniRail. The company says that the feature allows you to cool your build “with any fan or radiator setup”.
