After complying with all requests from the Brazilian Justice, the Xplatform Elon Muskis available again in Brazil. After another month of suspension, the platform, which has more than 22 million users in the country, can now be accessed normally.
Around the beginning of the evening on Tuesday (8), Minister Alexandre de Moraes sent the order for the unblocking to Anatel. The regulatory agency manages, together with providers in the country, the progress of unblocking the network.
Moraes stated that “the return of the activities of X BRASIL INTERNET LTDA. in national territory was conditioned, solely, to full compliance with Brazilian legislation and absolute observance of the decisions of the Judiciary, in respect for national sovereignty”.
The complete resumption of access to X should be completed this Wednesday (9), as Anatel needs to forward the official notification to the more than 20 thousand providers in Brazil. However, many users are already able to access the network.
In a note, X celebrated the return:
“OX is proud to be back in Brazil. Providing tens of millions of Brazilians with access to our indispensable platform was a priority throughout this process”
