Lian Li launches Lancool 207: mATX case with ATX space

This week, Lian Li launched the Lancool 207, the latest version of its popular line of cases. The big difference for the model, according to the manufacturer, is that it is micro-ATX in size, but with enough internal space to accommodate an ATX build.

In other words, the Lancool 207 supports motherboards from mini-ITX to ATX, while measuring just 450 x 455.6 x 219mm. There is still internal space for a GPU up to 375mm, with a CPU cooler up to 180mm. Furthermore, Lian Li highlights that the source can be up to 160mm, in ATX format too.

Moving on to the drives, Lian Li’s new case holds two HDDs or SSDs, 3.5” or 2.5”. There is space for two 140mm fans at the front, and the product comes with them pre-installed. At the bottom there are two 120mm cameras, which also come with the case. Finally, there is still space for another three 120mm (or two 140mm) ones on top and another 120mm one at the back, but these are at the buyer’s discretion.

As you can see in the images, the front panel is sieve-style, to allow ample air passage. One of the sides is made of 4mm tempered glass, to show the internal components.

Lian Li Lancool 207: price and availability

Lian Li’s new case is now available for purchase abroad. It has two color options, with the black one costing US$80 and the white one being more expensive, costing US$85. The values ​​are equivalent to approximately R$437 and R$464, respectively.

As has become customary for many case manufacturers, Lian Li also offers an optional kit for those who want to install the GPU vertically. The manufacturer did not disclose the price of the accessory, however.

For those who prefer to mount the video card horizontally, the Lancool 207 comes with a small support to alleviate the weight of the component in the PCIe connection on the motherboard (image above).
