In South Korea, 53% of people used as models for deepfake videos are Korean actresses and singers. Recently, actress Park Gyu Young, known for her role in Round 6, fell victim to the spread of fake AI-generated content. His face was superimposed on pornographic material.

Currently, those responsible for generating materials of this type are already legally liable in South Korea, and may receive a sentence of up to 5 years in prison and the payment of fines of up to 50 million won, equivalent to R$206,000, in direct conversion.
