A Motorola announced this Tuesday (17) the arrival of the smartphone Edge 50 Neo to the national market. This new smartphone arrives with a suggested price of R$ 3.299 and stands out for being a more affordable option within the brand’s premium line, bringing with it support for ready 5G.

The device, which went through the Anatel approval process in August, is equipped with a processor Dimensity 7300 da MediaTek. Plus, it comes with a RAM memory of 8 GB and an internal storage capacity of 256 GB. The RAM can be expanded up to an impressive 16 GB through the RAM Boost feature.

Main features of Motorola Edge 50 Neo

As for photography capabilities, the Edge 50 Neo doesn’t disappoint. It has a triple camera setup on the back: the main camera has a resolution of 50 MP and is equipped with the Sony LYTIA 700C sensor.

The main camera is accompanied by a 13 MP ultrawide that offers a wide 120º viewing angle; and a 10 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom capability. For selfie and video call lovers, there is also a 32 MP front camera.

The visual experience is enriched by its 6.4 inch pOLED displaywhich shines with an intensity of 3,000 nits and stands out with a refresh rate fast 120Hz. The device is powered by a 4,300mAh battery and has support for 68W fast charging technology.

It’s important to mention that the fast charger is sold separately, but the promise is tempting: up to 12 hours of use with just 11 minutes of charging. Furthermore, Motorola ensures that it will provide five years of operating system updates for the smartphone, a significant commitment to its users.

Edge 50 is now available in Brazil

Now available for purchase in Brazilthe Edge 50 model sits above the Edge 50 Neo in terms of specifications and price. This device comes with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, 12 GB of RAM (which can also be expanded up to 24 GB) and maintains the same 256 GB of internal storage.

Its pOLED screen is slightly larger, measuring 6.7 inches, and houses a 5,000 mAh battery. Like its smaller sibling, the Edge 50 also has the capacity for 68 W fast charging, but with the difference of including the fast charger in the purchase package.

Motorola is currently selling the Edge 50 Neo at a promotional discount on its official website for R$ 2.999. However, details about the system update policy for this specific model have not yet been released.
