GeForce GT 730 graphics card becomes a $1,000 handbag

The GT 730 may not be the best option for running your games these days, but who knows, it might be a good accessory. That’s what some unknown designer must have thought when he modified one of these cards to create nothing less than a bag. And a very expensive bag, at that.

While the GeForce GT 730 can be found in the US for around $20, GPU Purses is asking $1,024 for its purse made with the card. In other words, it seems like the brand believes it has created a luxury item – or at least wants to convince people that it has.

The bag is an acrylic structure with the PCB and GPU inside on one side and the fan on the other. Thus, the closed bag shows the complete board, and when opened, it separates the fan from the rest. According to the manufacturer, there is space for a cell phone inside.

It was VideoCardz who found this unusual product on the internet and the website itself doesn’t seem to trust the legibility of the GT 730 bag very much. The language in the product description probably doesn’t help its credibility. For example, the creator of the item states: “limited edition. I’ll make like 10 in the next few weeks.”
