Some users who have had issues with Intel’s 13th and 14th Generation CPUs are claiming that the manufacturer is out of stock of Core i9-13900K processors – taking up to five weeks for new units to arrive.
Taking into account the high demand for returns and exchanges, as a result of the extended warranty offered by the company after the controversy with voltage and oxidation, it is possible that the “idle” quantity (which had not been sent to stores) is no longer enough to meet the needs of everyone seeking customer service.
While many complain on social media, as they need Intel CPUs to use their computer – whether for work or personal purposes – the manufacturer tries to calm things down and continues to respond to everyone who is reporting problems with the Core i9-13900K and 14900K.

It’s important to note that the corporation is in a bad spot as well, with the month-long wait to receive new processors being “just one” of several issues they’ve been experiencing since the beginning of August.
To stem the tide, Intel is also offering some options to users. The person who complained on Reddit about the lack of stock of Core i9-13900K CPUs received a new message after the complaint – stating that they had recently received new 14900K processors and are negotiating a trade-in with the customer.
Intel’s recent problems
Intel is experiencing a real “spree of bad luck” in 2024. For a few months now, users have been complaining about instability in 13th and 14th Generation CPUs – caused by motherboard voltage and also by oxidation. Updates have already been made, but the problem has proven to be much bigger than expected and many are still looking for a solution.
Furthermore, the latest financial report showed huge losses in the last quarter – which led to the dismissal of 10% of their entire team, a drop in the stock market, a massive sale of shares and stakes in other companies, which still impacts them to this day.
