AMD Re-Releases Adrenalin 24.8.1 WHQL Driver with Final Fantasy XVI Support

Extended HYPR-Tune support

HYPR-Tune support allows HYPR-RX to enable in-game technologies such as AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR). The added support now automatically configures the FSR 3 frame generation in the following games:

• Call of Duty : Modern Warfare III;
• Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered;
• Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales;

• Introduces an in-game option to optimize frames, significantly reducing input lag on discrete GPUs or integrated graphics products based on AMD RDNA architecture;
  • Reduces latency in Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR’S CUT at 4K resolution on “Very High” setting by up to 28% when using AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 with frame generation and AMD Radeon Anti-Lag 2, compared to using it without AMD Radeon Anti-Lag 2 on AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT GPUs;
  • Users looking for a way to measure response time can use the Frame Latency Meter (FLM) or AMD Radeon Anti-Lag 2 software latency monitoring.

Artificial Intelligence on Radeon

The AMD Adrenalin 24.8.1 WHQL driver has support and optimizations for the Amuse application in its version 2.1 and also support for the FLUX.1 model

• Amuse 2.1 is supported on the following products:
  • GPUs AMD Radeon 7000;
  • CPUs AMD Ryzen AI 300, 8040 & 7040
• The FLUX.1 model is supported by the following products:
  • GPUs AMD Radeon RX 7900, AMD Radeon PRO W7900 e AMD Radeon PRO W7800;
  • Minimum 32GB RAM is required

Fixed issues and improvements

• Intermittent crash or DTO may occur while playing Black Myth: Wukong;
• An intermittent application crash issue may occur in Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess on some Radeon RX 6600 and 6700 GPUs;
• Intermittent crash or DTO issue may occur when starting Pacific Drive or KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-;
• The Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic filter settings in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition could fail when enabled in OpenGL applications;
• Artifacts could appear while playing certain titles, such as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales or Rust;
• Excessive memory usage could be observed while playing some versions of Minecraft Java Edition;
• Improved the “Optimizing Shaders” timing when starting the Forza Motorsport game

Known issues

• Audio and video may intermittently go out of sync while recording using the AV1 codec in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition. [Solução planejada para 2 de setembro de 2024];
• Dark shadows or desaturated colors may be observed while playing Black Myth: Wukong with Global Illumination set to Medium or higher. Users experiencing this issue can change Global Illumination to “Low” as a temporary measure. [Solução planejada para 1 de setembro de 2024]

• AMD is working with the developers of Star Wars Outlaws to fix an intermittent corruption issue that occurs after changing some in-game graphics settings. As a temporary measure, users who are experiencing this issue can restart the game.
