Khadas is preparing a new generation of its modular mini PCs equipped with Intel Core Ultra 200V processors. This is according to a leaked benchmark, which shows results of the product using Lunar Lake CPUs on GeekBench.
Khadas’ small portable computers separate several components into modules called Mind. The main one is the Khadas Mind, which incorporates the processor and enough connections to be a functional mini PC. Accompanied by the module of extra connections, the Mind Dock, it makes the Khadas Maker Kit, which is the subject of the leaked benchmark tests:
Two GeekBench results for the mini PCs have been released – one with an Intel Core Ultra 5 228V and the other with an Intel Core Ultra 7 268V. The latter scores 2915 for single-core and 11448 for multi-core. According to the folks at VideoCardz, these are some of the highest numbers leaked for the Core Ultra 7 268V to date.
More news:
The Lunar Lake generation of Intel processors is aimed at notebooks, laptops and all-in-one PCs, featuring integrated graphics and a focus on energy efficiency. Thus, Khadas’ Maker Kits can already be used as complete mini PCs, but the manufacturer also offers GPU modules, the Mind Graphics. At the moment, the most advanced option features an RTX 4060 Ti, and we don’t know if new versions of the Mind Graphics will be made with other options to take advantage of the arrival of the Core Ultra 200V.
Intel Core Ultra 200V Lunar Lake expected to appear in more mini PCs
It’s common to see notebook processors in mini PCs due to the focus on portability, so we should see more Lunar Lake-based SKUs appearing in newer mini PCs.
In other words, it is interesting to remember the details of the specs for the processors mentioned in the small PCs from Khadas. They are:
- Core Ultra 7 268V: 8 cores (8 threads) | clocked up to 5.0GHz | Arc 140V GPU | 32GB LPDDR5X memory
- Core Ultra 5 228V: 8 cores (8 threads) | clocked up to 4.5GHz | Arc 130V GPU | 32GB LPDDR5X memory
This information is based on previous leaks, which revealed the entire lineup of next-generation Intel processors.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that Khadas intends to participate in IFA 2024, where it intends to show details of its Mind line of modular Mini PCs.
