In January, during CES 2024, Hyperkin announced that it would release a new version for the Controller Sjoystick used on the first Xbox, released in 2001and this is already in effect. The control, named DuchesSis on pre-sale in the international market.
The Controller S is a revamped version of the first Xbox controller, The Duke. Its ergonomics weren’t the best, so a year later it was replaced by a model called the Controller S, which has now been revived by Hyperkin, who also released a version for The Duke a few years ago.
In Brazil, some ads are asking for almost R$1000 for this version of The Duke from Hyperkin, a company known for its reimagined versions of well-known controllers. In its portfolio, options for the DualShock and DualSense are also available.
The updated version of the Controller S is compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10 and 11. Officially licensed for Xbox, the company says the new controller offers a modernized feel to the Controller S.
The company highlights the Hall effect, which guarantees more precision in movements, and triggers with impulse in tactile feedback providing more immersion to the player.
The company also added modern features that weren’t present in the original version of the Controller S, such as the quick access button for sharing.
The connection is via cable. The box comes with a 3 meter USB-C to USB-A cable.

Available in black and white, DuchesS is now on pre-sale for R$49.99 (R$ 274, in direct conversion).
