A Kingston Digital announced this Monday (19) the launch of its new SSD DC2000B Enterprise-class NVMe M.2 para data centers.
O DC2000B is a high-performance PCIe 4.0 component optimized for use as an internal boot drive in high-volume rack servers.
SSD NVMe M.2 DC2000B da Kingston para Data Centers
Featuring the latest generation PCIe Gen 4×4 interface and 112-layer 3D TLC NAND, the DC2000B SSD is designed for internal boot drive applications in servers, as well as for custom systems that demand higher performance and reliability, according to Kingston.
The DC2000B SSD includes hardware-based Power Loss Protection (PLP) and features a new integrated aluminum heatsink for broad thermal compatibility across a variety of system designs.
“Whitebox server manufacturers and Tier 1 server OEMs continue to equip their high-end servers with M.2 sockets for both boot and internal data caching. The DC2000B is designed to deliver the write performance and endurance needed to support a variety of intensive server workloads. Bringing boot drives inside the server preserves valuable front-loading bays for data storage.”
