A NVIDIA announced the compatibility of technologies DLSS 3 e Full Ray Tracing in Black Myth: Wukong, which will be released on August 20th.
“Full Ray Tracing is a demanding yet highly accurate way to render light and its effect on a scene. With the power of GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs and their AI Tensor/Ray Tracing Cores, players will be able to experience Black Myth: Wukong with ray-traced lighting, reflections, and shadows.” says NVIDIA.
Indirect ray-traced multi-bounce lighting allows natural colored lighting to bounce up to twice in-game, creating more realistic lighting and occlusion. Meanwhile, ray-traced particle effects make it possible to render reflections from attacks, explosions, and fire.”
Despite the processing power required to utilize the technology behind Full Ray Tracing, DLSS 3 allows the user to play Black Myth: Wukong at max settings without any issues. Using a GeForce RTX 4090, the world’s fastest gaming GPU, players can hit nearly 100 frames per second at 4K. Owners of the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER and GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GPUs will be able to play the title in 4K, running at 74 and 66 frames per second, respectively.
To ensure your computer is ready for launch, Black Myth: Wukongcheck the Drivers tab of the NVIDIA Beta App, GeForce Experience, or the official GeForce website next week to download and install NVIDIA’s upcoming Game Ready Drivers, which will be released in collaboration with game developers and are extensively tested on thousands of hardware configurations for maximum performance and reliability.
