Alienware has announced a new 27-inch monitor that looks to be the answer for gamers who enjoy multiple genres. The AW2725QF model features two different modes: one with a 3840×2160 (4K) resolution and a 180Hz refresh rate and an FHD mode, with a 1920×1080 resolution and a 360Hz refresh rate.
The manufacturer’s proposal is to allow players to enjoy immersive games with great animation sequences, but by pressing just one button, they can have all the advantage in competitive multiplayers with a 360Hz refresh rate.
According to Alienware, its AW2725QF monitor can achieve these results by combining four pixels into one in FHD/360Hz mode. In addition, the IPS display also has 95% DCI-P3 coverage with Delta E<2 accuracy – bringing even wider color vibrancy to the various games you may encounter.
In its specifications, the new display also makes use of Dolby Vision technology and is certified with the VESA DisplayHDR 600 seal – proving that it can be used and enjoyed by both gamers and executions focused on entertainment as well as creative work.
Alienware says its AW2725QF monitor is scheduled to hit the market on September 12, 2024, and will have a suggested price of $599.99.

Alienware also revealed that the AW2725QF monitor is also compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync technology, as well as carrying VESA AdaptiveSync certification.
This allows gamers to avoid issues such as stutters while playing, in addition to bringing a response time of 0.5ms from gray to gray – meaning that blurring and ghosting will be minimal while controlling the aim in-game.
In terms of connectivity, the Alienware AW2725QF monitor has two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4 connector. It also has a USB-B 3.2 Gen1 port that allows you to connect up to three USB-A and one USB-C to the display.
