ASRock has released new BIOS updates for its Intel 700 motherboards, aiming to fix the instability issues seen on Intel Raptor Lake and Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs.
The update made available aims to bring the microcode necessary to solve this headache that is affecting many users around the planet.
It is important to note that ASRock’s BIOS update is targeted at Z790 and B760 motherboards and is not a beta version – as is the case with ASUS. All content is already available for download on its official website.

How to download BIOS update
To download the new BIOS version for your ASRock motherboard, follow the step-by-step instructions below:
- Go to the official ASRock website using the button below and find your motherboard model;
- Right after the first frame with photos of the product and its features, there are some buttons available. Click on “Support”;
- New buttons will appear for you, click on “BIOS”;
- Locate the latest version, which has the description “Update CPU microcode to 0x129” and click the “Global” download button
