Minisforum has announced a new version of its mini PC, introducing the AtomMan G7 Ti. The small computer features a very different design and hardware than the PT model, including Intel Core processors and a GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card.
The AtomMan G7 Ti’s appearance can be considered more discreet, without strong colors and, in a way, looking like a closed notebook. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not immediately disclose the product’s dimensions.
Accompanying the RTX 4070 is a 14th-generation Intel Core i9 14900HX. Alternatively, buyers can opt for the AtomMan G7 Ti SE, which features the same configuration but with an Intel Core i7 14650HX.
One curious thing about Minisforum’s new mini PC is that it doesn’t come with memory installed. Tom’s Hardware says that it’s up to the user to install the RAM and storage. The specifications list includes support for dual channel DDR5 and space for up to two M.2 PCIe Gen 4 SSDs.
In terms of connections, we have two USB-A 3.2 ports on the front and one on the back. The mini PC also has a USB-C port, an HDMI 2.1 connection and an RJ45 Ethernet. An SD card slot is also available.
AtomMan G7 Ti Mini PC has two modes
Minisforum’s new product has an interesting function for switching between two operating modes: office and game. In “office mode”, the PC operates at 140W, while in “game mode” this number increases to 180W. The change can be made using a dedicated button on the case or through the manufacturer’s proprietary software.
To know more:
Although the mini PC has been announced for pre-sale by Minisforum, the company has not yet started selling the product. In other words, the website does not offer a purchase option, nor does it provide the official price of the AtomMan G7 Ti. There is only a field to sign up and receive a coupon worth US$50.
For comparison, the AtomMan G7 PT costs $999 in its barebones version. You’d expect a higher price for the Ti version of the mini PC.
