There is no doubt that collections are a way of preserving history. And even with digitalization increasingly present in all types of media, some people continue to keep the flame of preserving old products alive, which date back to an increasingly distant time when physical media was king. Reddit user dorkusmaximus81 is one of those who is still alive in the search for more items that can be added to their collection of retro games and consoles.
He regularly posts new photos to the gamercollecting community on Reddit showing updates to his collection. In his most recent post, he celebrates the fact that he has completed a special corner of his retro space, complete with a Super Mario Bros arcade machine, a very comfortable armchair and even a CRT TV, so he can truly enjoy the gaming experience on retro consoles, such as the Nintendo 64 and Super Nintendo.
This area is just a small part of the items he has. Next door is a veritable goldmine of retro games and accessories, with several old PC games in the box, dozens of accessories from the Nintendo ecosystem, from the Power Glove to the NES Advantage, and even some of the craziest accessories in history, like the Konami Laser Scope. He also has several figures from the Amibo line, and other geeky items.
Officially out of room, going to have to go down a wall I guess.

The corner also has a hint of modernity, as he also has a notebook and gaming PC with Core i9, RTX 3080 and 64 GB of RAM, in addition to having also set up two configurations so that his two children can play.
