ASUS has announced its new NUC 14 Pro+, the mini PC with Intel Core Ultra CPUs focused on performance and also on the local use of generative artificial intelligence.
Users will be able to choose three Intel processors to compose their machine: the Core Ultra 9 185H, the Core Ultra 7 155H or the Core Ultra 5 125H. Their TDP reaches up to 65W and they all come with an Arc Alchemist iGPU.
According to information presented by ASUS, the NUC 14 Pro+ offers 35% higher computing speed compared to the NUC 13 Pro – a result obtained in image generation tasks via text using stable-diffusion software.
The device ships with two DDR5 5600 SO-DIMMs, with a range of up to 48GB x2, and an M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe SSD that can be 512GB or 1TB. It also has an additional M.2 2242 PCIe x4 NVMe SSD slot in case you want to expand your storage.
According to ASUS, the NUC 14 Pro+ measures 144mm x 112mm x 41mm and follows a 5×4-inch format. Its casing is anodized aluminum, with a simple design – following a standard for corporate environments.

ASUS’s NUC 14 Pro+ supports up to four 4K displays and features two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports.
On the front of the device, there is a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C (20Gbps) port and two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports. On the back there is a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, a USB 2.0 Type-A port, an RJ45 LAN input, a DC-in and a Kensington lock.
Additionally, ASUS claims that the NUC 14 Pro+ supports WiFi 6E as well as Bluetooth 5.3.
Additionally, the manufacturer points out that the mini PC also supports the VESA standard and that the user can open the chassis without the need for tools – facilitating access for upgrades or cleaning.
Finally, ASUS announced that the NUC 14 Pro+ will arrive with a system that detects inactivity and lack of movement within a range of 1.5m to 2m – automatically going into hibernation to save energy.
