The new Lenovo Ideapad 83HN notebook (SKU LNVNB161216) with AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 CPU has been subjected to benchmark tests and showed an improvement compared to the previous generation of processors from the same brand. Equipped with 32 GB LPDDR5x memory, it is up to 9% faster than the Ryzen 9 8945HS model.
Using the “balanced” profile, the new CPU achieved 2,544 points in the single-core tests and 12,745 points in the multi-core tests. It is important to note that the results show that the chip did not exceed the 4.5 GHz frequency – indicating that it may be a sample of the chip or that it will still be improved before its release to the public.
Regarding the single-core results of the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor, this Lenovo Ideapad notebook model achieves 7% more than the Ryzen 9 8945HS, in addition to achieving a 9% higher speed in multi-core.
Even if the result is positive, it is expected that the new AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors will achieve higher performance at their launch. In addition, the TDP plays an essential role in the results obtained – if it were running at low consumption, with a range of 15-28W, it would be natural to have a low increase.
In other words, although the TDP that the Lenovo Ideapad achieved during testing has not been disclosed, the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 CPU is expected to reach 5 GHz in boost clock on other devices and have gains that exceed the double-digit percentage mark.

The power of the AMD Ryzen 9 AI 365 CPU
The AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor model – which will be equipped in the new Lenovo Ideapad and ASUS and Acer notebooks – has 10 cores and 20 threads, with a boost clock that can reach up to 5 GHz. The hardware also has 34 MB of cache and features the Radeon 880M iGPU – with 768 cores and 12 computational units.
In addition to bringing cores with Zen5 and Zen5c architecture, we also have an iGPU with XDNA2 capable of delivering 50 TOPS of artificial intelligence performance. AMD Ryzen AI 300 APUs can range from 15W to 54W TDP.
More notebooks besides the Lenovo Ideapad should have their benchmarks released in the coming days, considering that the “Strix Point” processors are expected to arrive later this month. The estimated date for their entry into the market is July 28th.
