Kojima shows that he has a special version of the PS4 that is sold for R$7,000 in Brazil

Hideo Kojima recently shared on his X account that he has a limited edition PS4, released in 2015, which is completely related to the producer’s career.

The model in question is the PlayStation 4 released in celebration of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Painthe last MGS that featured the participation of the Japanese responsible for creating this iconic franchise.

This special edition of the PS5 is based on the version of the console with 500 GB of storage, and its main attraction is the customization on the upper part of the case, which received a shade of red, inspired by the colors of Snake’s bionic arm, in addition to gold details.

The design, designed by Sony in collaboration with Konami, also resulted in a slight modification to the DualShock 4, inspired by the colors of the protagonist’s weapon, as well as including the logo of Diamond Dogs, the game’s military company.

Initially, this edition was only sold in Asia, but it ended up also reaching the European market.

It would be a dream for Kojima to return to Metal Gear, says Konami producer

Noriaki Okamura, the current producer of the Metal Gear franchise, recently stated that it is unlikely that Kojima will return to the franchise, but that it would be a dream if he worked on Metal Gear again. Kojima left Konami in 2015 in a turbulent manner.
