Even with all the spotlight on them, Qualcomm Snapdragon X processors are not performing well in gaming benchmarks using the Adreno GPU on Windows PCs.
One of the notebook models that features the new processor, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED Snapdragon presented a lower quality than seen on mobile devices with Intel Core i9-13900H and Iris Xe Graphics G7 graphics with 96EUs, for example. The conclusion that can be drawn is that Qualcomm did not produce hardware that performed well in games, even if this was not its promise. Its focus is on NPU processing, currently being the largest available on the market with 45 TOPS – which will rival the AMD Ryzen AI 300 and Intel Lunar Lake CPUs.
It is important to note that there are not many reviews about the Qualcomm Snapdragon X processors and their GPU due to Microsoft, which prevented the reviews from being published to remove the Recall software due to the controversy. In other words, the only one that was available for reviews was the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED Snapdragon.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon In addition to the Adreno GPU, it also has an NPU with 45 TOPS, as described above.
It is the first processor certified by Microsoft for the Copilot+ device program, bringing several features related to artificial intelligence. The main one, Recall, was temporarily removed for adjustments.
Furthermore, it is seen that Copilot+ does not use the NPU of Qualcomm Snapdragon X processors for on-device assistance. It is still connected to an online service, now accessible via a dedicated button that was added to the keyboards.
